Join Chevy As We Drive into the Electric Future

The future of vehicle powertrains is electric – the transformation is ongoing.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or simply count yourself as blissfully unaware, you’ll know that these days, gas prices are at an all-time high. Our pockets are hurting, and so is the environment.

When you fill your vehicle up at the pump with gasoline or diesel, they then emit carbon dioxide - a greenhouse gas - out into the Earth’s atmosphere. The EPA says that greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide, methane, or nitrous oxide, all continue to build up, which is causing the atmosphere to warm up, leading to the climate changes we continue to see day-to-day. The emissions created by transportation vehicles in the United States alone contribute to 29 percent of the country’s total greenhouse gas emissions.

Here at Chevrolet, we understand your concerns, whether they be financial or environmental. That’s why we continue to roll out new and improved electric vehicles, equipped with Ultium batteries, state-of-the-art technology, and EV charging systems, to make your purchase as easy as possible for both your wallet and your conscience.

Going Electric

We like to think that the decisions we make are beneficial for everyone involved. Fortunately, with an electric vehicle from Chevy, you can rest assured that is the case.

  • Zero emissions; Hit he road without worrying about how much gas you’ll be burning because... guess what? There is none!

  • More cost-efficient; Without needing to fill up your tank, you’ll save money that you can use for more important things, like those concert tickets you’ve been eyeing.

  • Convenient to charge; Whether at home or on the road, the Ultium battery in each Chevy electric vehicle makes it simple for you to recharge as quickly as possible.

  • Find one of our more than 40,000 public charging stations while you shop or eat, and come out refueled and ready to go.

  • The at-home electric car charging system allows you to select the type of charge you want, providing anywhere from 4 to 39 miles per hour, depending on what you choose. The best part? Installation of a home charging unit is on us.

  • Additional warranties; Your Chevy Complete Care covers extended Courtesy Transportation, as well as your battery, for 8 years or 100,000 miles, for qualifying warranty repairs.

  • Ultifi system; Our new software system will introduce you to a whole new world of personalization, access, and apps with just the touch of a button.

The Road Ahead

You might have read our recent post about the first-ever Silverado EV, with up to a 400-mile range on an estimated full charge and less than 4.5 seconds 0-60, but did you know that it also features storage capacity for items of more than 10 feet in length? The Multi-Flex Midgate makes it all possible. The Silverado also allows you to tow up to 10,000 pounds - bring your fishing boat to the lake anytime you feel the urge!

You might be wondering, other than the Chevrolet electric vehicle perks listed above, what else the Silverado EV is offering? We’re glad you asked.

  • Smaller turning radius for sharper turns on winding, back roads, thanks to the new 4-Wheel Steer, which makes parking a breeze.

  • Super Cruise Driver Assistance Technology means hands-free driving is no longer a thing of the future, but the present.

  • The available Four-Corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension makes it easier and smoother than ever to speed across bumpy or uneven terrain.

We’re also excited to announce the addition of two upcoming electric vehicles to our line-up: the Chevy Blazer and Chevy Equinox, both ready to debut in 2023.

The 2023 Chevy Blazer will offer a sleek new design, including front grille updates, a new 10-inch-diagonal Chevrolet Blazer - 2023 screen for all models, new LED headlamps, and additional exterior colors to choose from, at an additional cost. The all-new Blazer also provides Adaptive Cruise Control availability, as well as the Chevy Safety Assist package, and includes:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking

  • Following Distance Indicator

  • Forward Collision Alert

  • Front Pedestrian Braking

  • Lane Keep Assist, with Lane Departure Warning

  • IntelliBeam automatic high beams

And we couldn’t forget the fan-favorite Chevy Equinox, ready for you to drive in late 2023. Let Chevy Handle Your Springtime Vehicle Service Needs

Service your Chevy this spring – ensure your vehicle is in tip-top shape.

Did you Know That April is National Car Care Month?

The season of joyrides, tailgating, and road trips is just about here! The days are getting longer, and the weekend weather means less screen time and more free time.

As we start shedding our own layers of sweaters and jackets, isn’t it only fair that we help our Chevrolets shed the layers of salt and grime built up after months of driving through the snow and sleet from one adventure to the next?

Central New Yorkers know that each season calls for necessary maintenance and repairs for home and lawn – and it’s exactly the same for your Chevy! From checking your tire pressure and making sure your windshield wipers are doing their job, letting the little things slide now could mean bigger problems down the road.

Forgetting to keep your car’s maintenance up-to-date also means you’ll have a tougher time passing inspection. The Car Care Council says that 7 in 10 cars will fail at least one component of inspection due to lack of proper upkeep!

But we know you don’t have time to fail inspection – you have warmer places to be and fun people to see when you get there. That’s why Chevy makes a wide range of service offers available to you, starting from the moment you purchase your vehicle.

New Chevy Vehicle Owners

You might already know that any new Chevrolet comes with one factory-included maintenance visit, which includes an oil change, tire rotation, and Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection, to be used within your first year of owning the vehicle. But did you know that if you purchased a 2019 Chevy or newer, you can get more bang for your buck by purchasing the Extended Factory Maintenance?

It’s true! With this plan, you gain access to three additional visits, which you can schedule at any time within the first two years of purchase.

New, Used and Leased Chevy Vehicle Owners

Driving a Chevy means you have the ability to access a slew of vehicle service benefits that come in handy at any time, no matter what adventure you’re on:

  • Pre-paid maintenance, which covers you for any scheduled oil and filter changes, as well as tire rotations.

  • Tire and wheel protection means that you’ll be taken care of if you run into a problem on the road, whether you need a repair or a replacement. This also includes 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance.

  • The Appearance Guard Plan helps keep your Chevrolet looking as good as new.

Leased Chevy Vehicles

So you’re driving your leased Chevy up to the Adirondacks this summer. Maybe you’re headed to the beach for some well-deserved R&R. But what about the terms of your lease?

Our XS Wear Lease Protection plan is here when you hit a problem that might be considered bigger than normal wear and tear, which might include:

  • Dents, scratches, and chipped paint

  • Interior stains

  • Chipped glass

  • Tires and wheels

  • Missing parts, Owner’s Manual, or keys—if charges are less than $150 per item

  • Excess mileage charges up to $400

Celebrate National Car Care Month with Chevrolet

This spring, Chevrolet has a whole slate of service offers, on top of everything we listed above, for you to make sure your vehicle is in tip-top shape. We know that you drive a Chevy for a reason, so when it comes time for it to be serviced, only the best will do. With the specialized tools and expertise of each and every one of our Chevrolet Certified Service Experts, we’ll get you back on the road safely in no time.

Worrying about your tires? With our Spring Tire Sales Event, there’s no need. When you purchase Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear, Hankook, or Pirelli tires with a GM Rewards Card, and have us install them, you’ll receive a $200 rebate! Don’t have a GM Rewards Card? No problem – you’ll still get a $100 rebate with any other form of payment.

And let’s not forget the rest! Right now, we’re offering can’t-miss rebates when you schedule an appointment to replace tires, shocks, struts, brake pads, and brake rotors. Check out the full details here to find the right deal for you and your Chevy.
